Pascua Lama Geotechnical Exploration and Engineering Studies
Pascua Lama is the first binational gold mine project located between Argentina and Chile. SRK provided a multidisciplinary team of professionals: civil and mining engineers, geotechnical engineers, and hydrogeologists.
The team designed excavations, foundations, slopes, fills, retaining walls, dams, geosynthetic reinforced soil walls, and controlled low-strength material fills, while our field team performed geotechnical explorations and forensic engineering studies.
We implemented numerical models in Plaxis 2D, 3D, and Phase2 for the analyses.
