Rock Mass Assessment and Modelling of Rävliden Underground Deposit
SRK conducted a rock mechanics study of Boliden Minerals' Rävliden underground deposit to evaluate mining methods, design parameters, and mining sequences, locating infrastructure, reinforcement, and backfill requirements. The client provided data for a thorough rock mass assessment and modelling for the analyses. The deliverables included: the best mining options, stope dimensioning charts and tables for different options and conditions, pillar dimension charts, ground support and backfill recommendations, and risk assessment.
