Sial Ghorgi Owners Engineer and Mine Planning
SRK was engaged as the owner’s engineer at the Sial Ghogri underground coal mine for a one-year period to undertake a continuous review of the operation and provide advice on the implementation of corrective measures to improve safety and productivity at the mine.
SRK was also involved in modifying and preparing a revised mining plan. SRK prepared the project report, which included: mine layout, ventilation, underground transport, equipment specifications and mining costs. SRK was further engaged in the preparation of an operational plan, which formed the basis of the tendering process for selecting a new mine operator.
