The talk was designed to give a broad overview of the factors influencing bauxite quality and to compare and contrast bauxite in different regions across the globe. By understanding the characteristics of bauxite, it is possible to assess the potential product types and markets available. The talk focussed on the geology and physical characteristics of different bauxite.
