This presentation was delivered as part of the 2022 Mine Closure workshop by SRK Consulting Kazakhstan.
The purpose of the workshop was to provide participants with the guidance on best practice of integrating mine closure into project life cycles and an understanding of the importance of developing feasible closure designs and realistic closure cost estimates to achieve closure goals. During this workshop, many aspects of mine closure were discussed in an interactive way with a full involvement of all participants.
