Avril worked on numerous projects that included water and wastewater management, surface water and groundwater quality assessments, integrated water resource management, water use authorisations and licensing in terms of the National Water Act, Act 36 of 1998, pollution source identification and control and auditing of water use licences, waste management licences and environmental management programme performance assessments. Her expertise also includes integrated water and waste management plans, rehabilitation strategy and implementation plan development and training and capacity building.
