During his early years, he worked in consultancy related to sectoral and environmental themes, specifically in the preparation and coordination of closure plans, sectoral environmental permits, and environmental impact statements.
He held the position of Technical Inspector of Works at El Teniente Division, Codelco Chile. In this role, he was responsible for verifying and controlling the compliance with contracts and project requirements as the client's representative, ensuring the highest quality and efficiency at the different stages of the project. He exercised leadership in the field in terms of safety and quality.
In November 2020, he joined SRK as a Consultant for the Geochemistry, Mine Closure, and Environment area, where he has participated in the development of closure plans and engineering projects related to mine closure, specializing in the use of different models for the estimation of closure costs and provision estimation.
