Simon has experience in underground and open pit operations, in gold and diamond operations, with different mining methods, including room and pillar, long holes operation, open stope mining, and almost 10 years of experience in various block caving methods. He has expertise in bonus calculation, as he reviewed and optimized Renard and Beaufor mines methods. His health and safety knowledge includes the implementation of an operational excellence program in OSH management, and the establishment of a multi-time winning mine rescue team in Québec.
