Will has specialized in working with small and midsized companies that required fluency in all levels of mine planning across multiple software platforms to deliver functional plans that will immediately service an active operation and achieve the corporation’s targets. Will’s methods are centered on building planning systems that allow for continuous improvement alongside a functioning operation towards cost savings and improving the economic potential of the deposit.
He has started two brownfield operations, one surface mine and one underground mine. In both cases Will was the only engineer servicing the sites and produced all levels of plans and reports such as the Life of Mine Designs, annual budget, mid-range, short-range, D&B designs, monthly reconciliations, geotechnical compliance project status reports, and achievement of mine plans. These functions were successful by working with multiple stakeholders and balancing competing priorities.
