SRK was engaged to undertake studies on the Cukaru Peki upper zone. Prior to the PEA in 2017, SRK undertook an access and haulage study followed by a mining method assessment study and was responsible for the geology, geotechnical engineering, mine planning, cost estimation, closure planning, technical economics, risk assessment facilitation, and study management of the 2017 PEA and NI 43-101 report. After the PEA, the mining team undertook optimisation studies and the eventual mine planning and costing in the PFS. SRK was also engaged during the FS mine engineering and geotechnical work until the project was sold in early 2019.
