She works in the area of geomechanics and tunnels, where she carries out geotechnical characterization of rock masses, training activities, geotechnical mapping of drill cores and surface, analysis and processing of geotechnical and structural databases, supervision of laboratory testing, geotechnical and structural modelling, as well as the definition and characterization of structural domains.
Catalina holds a Master’s degree in Risk and Resources Governance from Heidelberg University, Germany.
