Jaco has over 20 years of experience in mining engineering.
Hang specializes in mine geomechanics design and operational support for various mining methods, including caving (block/panel, sublevel, and incline), stoping and/or deep mining, room and pillar, and narrow vein mining. Hang is actively involved in research and development on mining rock mechanics to promote industry best practices. He has contributed to numerous projects for operating mines and development projects in Canada (British Columbia, Manitoba, Nunavut, Quebec, and Ontario), the USA, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Mexico, Mongolia, and South Africa.
