Javier Rivera

Javier has been involved in sample selection and collection, laboratory analysis, interpretation of static, kinetic, and mineralogical geochemical tests, as well as in estimating water chemical qualities through numerical models.

In the field of research, his master's thesis involved studies related to the geochemistry of precious metals (Au, Pd, Pt) in surface areas to understand their potential mobility and retention in specific media.

In this context, he developed solubility models for palladium and platinum using Geochemist Workbench™ and innovative techniques with stable isotopes of Cr and Fe to identify the enrichment and mobilization processes of these elements.

Javier also has laboratory experience in the preparation and execution of mineralogical tests and geochemical tests with acid dissolution followed by mass spectrometry measurement.
