Nicolás Alscher

Nicolás has been involved in several mining projects, from pre-feasibility studies to detailed engineering design of tailings and mine waste storage facilities, operational support, risk analysis workshops, independent reviews with a focus on GISTM compliance, and trade-off studies to assess different tailings technologies and site alternatives to increase the projected life of mine.

He also has knowledge of numerical methods and limit equilibrium for several geotechnical applications, and experience in the design of geotechnical projects, including retaining structures, shallow and deep foundations, embankments and excavations.
