The KZN Department of Public Works is proposing an upgrade to Celani Primary School which is located in Madadeni, Newcastle. The school currently comprises of prefabricated classrooms which will be upgraded. All buildings and infrastructure will be constructed within the existing site footprint which includes new classrooms, storerooms, offices, ablution facilities, sport and recreation facilities.
The proposed construction is subject to the following:
A Basic Assessment (BA) process in terms of the NEMA 2014 Environmental Impact Assessment Regulations, as amended.
