PROJECT SYNOPSIS

In accordance with the National Environmental Management: Air Quality Act, No.39 of 2004 (the NEM: AQA), South African municipalities are mandated to review and update their Air Quality Management Plans (AQMPs) after every five years. SRK Consulting (South Africa) (Pty) Ltd (SRK) has been appointed by the Msunduzi Municipality to undertake the public participation process and review their existing AQMP (dated 07 June 2019) to ensure alignment with the latest regulatory requirements.

PROJECT LOCATION

Msunduzi Municipality, Pietermaritzburg, KZN.

STATUS OF PROJECT

The existing Air Quality Management plan (AQMP) report is available for review from 20 March until 25 April 2025.
