Asif also has experience is planning, feasibility studies, data analysis, MDO selection, and techno-economic evaluation of highly mechanized underground mines.
Before joining SRK, Asif worked with Vedanta Resources (Hindustan Zinc Limited), primarily in underground base metal mines in Rajasthan. Over a decade, he held multiple roles in mine planning and operations, including development, ore production optimization, ground control, hauling, haul road maintenance, dewatering, and mine safety.
Beyond operations and planning, Asif served as a ventilation officer for a deep underground mine, collaborating with CIMFR and PMRC consultants on ventilation projects. He is an advanced user of Ventsim software for 3D ventilation modelling and simulation.
