He has led multidisciplinary teams working on different projects regarding all engineering fields, especially in the mining industry.
Among the technical tasks developed are the preparation of Environmental Impact Declarations (EID), the creation of emission inventories, the preparation of air quality reports using CALPUFF, the coordination of baseline studies with specialists, and the preparation of water monitoring reports (alert levels).
Alex worked as an information director for various clients in the retail and government sectors. Prior to that, he served as a project engineer, collaborating on projects for Minera Escondida, Planta Plamen Mejillones, Pascua Lama, Minera Florida, Compañía Minera Zaldívar, Codelco Chile División Ventanas, Antofagasta Minerals, and Arena Minerals Chile.
Alex has excellent command of both English and French.
